Highland Engineering, Inc. has provided Civil Engineering and Design services for 11 hi-rise residential and mixed-use towers over the past 3 years. This impressive list contributes more than 3,800 condominium residences, 2 hotels and more than 63,000 square feet of new retail space to the skyline of Atlanta, Georgia.
Regional Residential Developer
Chooses Highland Engineering for their Civil Engineering needs for 2 new Multi-Family projects and for a new Retail/Restaurant development in the Atlanta Area. Highlands Residential also chose Highland Engineering to provide Survey Services on their new apartment development slated for Newnan, Georgia. Highlands Residential, which is wholly owned by Branch Properties, is a well-known regional multi-family developer.

Highland Engineering’s Environmental Services Department provided all Phase I and Asbestos investigation services for Gables Residential Trust, a national REIT on their property and existing structures located at Monroe Drive and Executive Park Drive in Atlanta, GA
New Perimeter Area Residential...
Continues to be a busy place for the Highland Engineering Civil staff. Highland has provided Civil Engineering services for Southeast Capital Partners, an award winning multi-family/mixed-use developer on the highly successful 27 story, 227-condominium development called The Manhattan and also for their successful new townhome development named The Gramercy. Both developments are located in the Dunwoody area near Perimeter Mall. The Manhattan was the first hi-rise structure ever permitted in the Dunwoody area. It is now fully developed and sold out.
Air Models and Permit Application...
The Environmental Services Department of Highland Engineering is providing air model and permitting services for 2 Lafarge quarries in Newton and Clayton county Georgia.
New Survey Services Senior Project Manager
John Farrell, Sr. Project Manager has joined our Survey Services team to help manage and provide quality control of our ever-increasing workload while continuing to provide superior service for our clients. In addition to his formal education John brings more than 17 years of experience in survey, survey management and quality control to our team. John resides in Marietta with his wife and son.
